Our Story
Wallflower was founded in 2019, stemming from an exploration of polymer clay.
When I first encountered this material, I was deeply drawn to its malleability. It can subtly and delicately capture the curves of petals, the纹理 of leaf veins, and the naturally flowing colors, ensuring that each piece retains the unique warmth of handmade craftsmanship.
From then on, nature became the starting point for Wallflower's creations.
Founder Zoe enjoys observing the seasonal changes in plants and is always drawn to easily overlooked details – the texture of morning light falling on petals, the growth posture of leaves, the rhythm of branches and leaves swaying gently in the wind. These quiet yet subtle moments become the initial inspiration for every piece.
Wallflower hopes to transform this poetic beauty from nature into classic, pure, and long-lasting jewelry, allowing natural elements to integrate into daily life and accompany every ordinary but precious moment.
The Meaning Behind Wallflower
The term "Wallflower" originally referred to someone who stands quietly in a corner at a social gathering, not good at socializing.
Founder Zoe was once like this, and therefore always thought it was a negative term.
Until later, she began to reinterpret "Wallflower."
Quietness does not mean a lack of brilliance; on the contrary, by habitually pausing, one is more likely to discover fleeting beauty.
Wallflowers possess keen observational skills, delicate sensibilities, and a curious mind towards the world. They see details that others easily overlook and find cherished scenery in the ordinary.
This is precisely the spirit Wallflower brand aims to convey.
We believe that beauty does not always have to be dazzling.
Some beauty exists in the moment a flower blooms, in the delicate texture of a leaf vein, or in a piece of jewelry that can be cherished for a long time.
Truly moving things are often quiet, yet they can endure through time.
Our Inspiration
Every Wallflower piece begins with natural flowers as its creative starting point.
We do not chase rapidly changing trends, but rather draw inspiration from flowers, plants, and the four seasons, preserving nature's purest form through hand-sculpting, delicate carving, and color blending.
Each piece is handmade, so the texture, color, and details vary slightly, much like how no two leaves in nature are exactly alike.
We hope that each piece of jewelry is not just an accessory, but a companion from nature, reminding wearers to slow down and notice the subtle yet beautiful moments in life.
